Web Performance

Cyber Monday 2017 - the largest online shopping day in the US. Ever.

Revenue hit $6.6 billion this year. That's up $1 billion from last year. To put that number in perspective, Thanksgiving and Black Friday together brought in nearly $8 billion. Yeah, Monday was a big day for retail.

And it was a big day for IT teams, too. The traffic load on Cyber Monday resulted in a outages and slow-downs for a lot of retailers. J. Crew's checkout process crashed. Southwest Airlines went down.

Just like we did for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, let's find out how the top 25 retailers performed on Cyber Monday.

The findings in this post are based on hundreds of home page measurements across 5 US locations using Blue Triangle's Synthetic Monitoring.
